The adage, you can’t have the cake and eat it too, does not hold good here. Because, with the Blender Juicer, you can do exactly that!
The need of the kitchen today cannot compromise on the requirement of a blender and a juicer, both at the same time. While the functions of the blender are entirely different from that of the juicer, we have home appliance equipment in the market today, that helps perform both the functions as a two-in-one. Simply speaking, a blender blends food. And a juicer extracts the juices out of food pulp.
The function of juice blender or the blender juicer, whichever way one would want to address the apparatus as, is to primarily multifunction through separate jars on a common power base.
The blender juicers doing the rounds in the market range from Vitamix, BlendTex, Champion, Magic Bullet, Moulinex, Rosemary Conley, Kenwood, etc. The Black and Decker, and Hamilton Beach are one of the popular names in the industry.
There are three types of blender juicers available in the market – The centrifugal juicer, the masticating juicer and the triturating juicer. Yet another kind is that which operated on manual functions. The centrifugal juicer separates the pulp from the juice through a separation mechanism of the blades. The masticating juicer simply squeezes out the juice. The triturating juicer with two gears first crushes the fruit and then derives the juice from it.
The centrifugal blender juicer has flat blades and works on the same lines as the washing machine spin does, extracting the excess water from the washed clothes. The juice yield is much lower than the masticating blender juicer. It is however, the most commonly used, and most easily available in the market.
The masticating blender juicer is a single gear juicer and yields juice in comparatively larger content with less foam. It is capable of producing juices which retains the essential nutrients and enzymes, closest to its natural form. A quiet machine with a low speed motor abrogates oxidation.
The triturating blender juicer works on a twin gear rotating inwards silently. The idea of a blender juicer is to retain a maximum of the goodness in food and yet assist in making it easy on the digestive system. If this blender juicer is used correctly, the foam is almost non-existent. The yield is higher than the masticating blender juicer.
The Blender juice is a total space saver for those, enduring space crunch. In any case, more is less and bulky is ugly!
The short cut to good health is a high fibre diet in the liquid form. Hence, juicing is the ideal path to fulfill the requirements of the body, without bullying the digestive system.
